Welcome to Wellington Timebank!
We are a community that is all about sharing.
Everyone has skills and everyone has needs.
What you find easy or enjoy can benefit someone else and vice versa.
Together we can help each other.
Essentially we are a generosity network. We recognise that everyone has experience, knowledge and skills no matter what age, background or circumstance.
And we appreciate that everyone has needs. We provide a space for people to connect and be part of a goodness network. You share your skills, knowledge or resources and in the future can receive help that you need.
Our Timebank is a great place to meet people and get help with things that would make your life easier or more enjoyable!
You can also learn new skills and / or share your talents with people.
Everyone’s time is valued equally, regardless of what skills are exchanged.

We have lots of opportunities to share kai and kōrero at our Timebank potlucks & events
Wellington Timebank has over 1,000 members across 46 suburbs!
Including over 150 member organisations across Wellington. There are all sorts of groups that belong: Age Concern, Kaibosh, the Sustainability Trust, Te Aro Zero Waste, Kaicycle Urban Farm & Composting, Wellington City Council, most Community Centres, Residents Associations, Arthritis NZ, Sweet Release, many schools, Te Toi Mahana (City Housing provider), lots of community gardens & orchards, the list goes on!

*Our coordinator works Mon, Tue, Thur & Fri and is also available via email info[at]wellingtontimebank.org.nz. Please note they do not work Wednesdays.
