Want to join up?

First step: let us know who you are with our online Membership Form!

Second step: attend one of our fortnightly orientation sessions so we can meet in person. The meeting takes about an hour - we discuss Timebanking - why it is so amazing, the values and how it works. We will talk about some of the safety systems in place.

We offer the choice of two sign-up and orientation sessions each month, and we welcome drop-ins during office hours.

  • First Saturday of the month 11am, Aro Valley Community Centre
  • Third Thursday of the month 5.30pm, Newtown Community and Cultural Centre

Make sure you let us know if you are coming.

If you need to arrange a different time or feel uncomfortable about joining in a group just let me know.

You’ll need to bring with you:

  • A photocopy of an ID for a Ministry of Justice - Request for Criminal Conviction History
    Passport, drivers licence or firearms licence - We can photocopy it if we are at Newtown Community Centre (If you don't have one of these we need someone to ID you using a special form)
  • $10 membership fee ($5 unpaid/community services card) 

If you are still to fill out the Membership Form please bring:

  • The names and number of 2 referees. We speak to referees for each person who joins as one of our ways to keep members safe. This is because members could be invited into one another’s homes.
  • Ideas about what can offer and what you might like to receive.
